Pastors & Staff

Gordon McClure

Lead Pastor

Gordon loves to see people experience transformation through Jesus and believes no one is too far away from Christ that He won't welcome them back. Jesus has done that for Gordon. His Middle School pastor prophesied over him that he would become a pastor someday. Gordon ran from that call all through college until his senior year when he had an encounter with the Holy Spirit that led him back to serving Jesus with his whole heart. He also credits his parent's example of Christ in the home he grew up in, where his parents have faithfully served their church family.
What Gordon wants everyone to know is that Jesus loves them and wants them to be in eternity with Him and all those who believe in Him.
Gordon transitioned into ministry after a diverse career as a music educator, school principal, and professional musician. He holds degrees in music from Eastern Illinois University and Bowling Green State University, along with biblical studies and professional development credentials. After serving as a worship pastor across four states and as a lead pastor in Abilene, KS and Corbin, KY, he now is ministering at Cheney Community Church.
